Agile Scrum Master with BA Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with Business Analyst (BA) responsibilities to join our team at [Company Name]. In this role, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices and ensuring the successful delivery of projects, while also taking on BA responsibilities to gather requirements and contribute to the overall project analysis.
Responsibilities:
Agile Scrum Master Duties:
- Guide and coach the Agile development team on Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Foster collaboration, communication, and transparency within the team and with stakeholders.
- Remove impediments and address conflicts to keep the team focused on project goals.
- Track and report on team progress, ensuring the timely delivery of project milestones.
- Act as a servant leader, empowering the team to self-organize and continuously improve.
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings to gather and validate requirements.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and other documentation.
- Perform business process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure clear understanding of requirements and support their implementation.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with the resolution of any issues or defects.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Agile Scrum Master and Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the ability to apply Agile principles to drive successful project delivery.
- Proficient in requirements gathering techniques, such as user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) are a plus.
